However, now is the time to review the red linen Jaque dress I got from the Petite Studio NYC. The dress comes in gorgeous white colour as well. I chose the red dress because I wanted something more colorful and practical. It pairs well with Converse sneakers in summer.

Firstly, I want to mention everything I love about the dress. The length of the dress is great even for short women and extra Petite women, as myself (4’11). Secondly, I like that the red tone is very natural and not too bright. This makes it perfect for the summer time, vacations, and even casual outfits. The Petite dress has an elegant and classy vibe, but at the same time, it is very sexy.

However, now I will talk about some cons the dress has (in my opinion). The gorgeous mini dress has a tiny belt (very flattering for short women). However, it is on a lower waist and it should be around the waist to cinch us in. Some fabric hangs around my tummy making it comfortable but not the most flattering dress. Lastly, the cut and design around the neck and arms is interesting as well. I would rather have smaller armholes and small V-neck line.

How to style a linen dress for Petites?

I already mentioned that I ordered the dress to style it with Converse sneakers for casual outfits. Wear a denim jacket if the weather is cold. However, for the night out, take your wedges or plain sandals and a cute purse. Do not forget the smile because that is the best accessory!
