Firstly, only choose high-waisted pants, trousers and jeans. The high-waisted design visually lengthens your Petite frame. Secondly, slightly cropped or hem-grazing works best.

Thirdly, some wide-leg pants and trousers has vertical details or small, tiny lines that visually adds to the flattering style. For example, the olive green Miss Selfridge wide-leg pants I bought has small, vertical white lines that makes the pants even more flattering for short women.

Finally, take photos and look in the mirror (maybe go with your best friend or mother for an opinion). Because the most important part is the right fit- the pants must fit tightly on your curves (but not be too small), and not too baggy and wide.

Keep the proportions balanced

Proportions are very important when styling outfits as a petite woman. Therefore, the high-waisted pants are crucial for the right proportions. Therefore, you should wear the wide-leg pants with fitted or tucked tops. Because when bottoms are wide or oversize, the top should be fitter and the other way around. Lastly, add a belt to define your waistline even more. I have been investing in good belts and a tiny white/beige belt is next in my wishlist.
