The best flattering Petite trousers for spring. For short women, pants and bottoms, in general, are the most challenging clothing items to shop for. I have lived 30 years without having pants because of that, only a few leggings and couple of jeans.
However, it has changed since I found around 100 Petite fashion brands that sell Petite trousers and more clothing. One of the last online order included some of the best Petite trousers, pants and leggings that I have ever owned. Last but not least, today I will share the best trousers on a budget for Petites this spring.

How to shop for trousers as a short woman?
Firstly, measure your inseam, waist and hips. Secondly, make sure to always pay attention to inseam size measurements when shopping for bottoms. Thirdly, following fashion bloggers and creators with similar heights as you can help as well. Where are the other 4’11 (150cm) women?
Finally, make sure that the pants are flattering on your frame. I would suggest avoiding too wide pants and pants with huge bold prints. However, I suggest monochromatic trousers, high-waisted pants and pants with vertical lines.

Spring pants for bold Petites

The fuschia pink wide trousers from Boohoo Petite are the best pants for bold and elegant women! I like that the pants are suitable for the office environment as well as can be dressed up for a party, date night or even a wedding.
For the price, the pants are of great quality, the designer has thought about flattering details like folds around hips and the fact that these are wide pants but still look flattering and are not as baggy as many other wide pants.

As always, I ordered high- waisted pants and do not accept any other type. Especially for more elegant wear. However, I am 4’11 and the pants are too long for me, except if I wear high-heels. Therefore, consider it.

From the back, pants hug all the right places and do not feel uncomfortable. The best detail is the stretched waist band on the back so the pants do not gap! However, it also makes the pants more comfortable. Last but not least, the fuschia trousers look gorgeous with striped tops and white and black tops in general.
Aesthetic trousers for minimalistic and aesthetic Petites

The Miss Selfridge Petite olive green wide trousers from ASOS give wider clown vibes (but stylish). It took me a while to get used to such wide pants- usually, I do not go for wide trousers. However, the pants are very stylish, comfortable as well as gorgeous in general.

The pants have subtle narrow white vertical lines that vertically lengthen any short legs. And the trousers also have the same type of folds around hips and pockets. If you need elegant but super comfortable pants- I suggest you to take a look.

The pants has small pocket details on the back. They are not the most stretchy pants but still very comfortable. I am 4’11 and they fit me perfectly.
When I ordered the Petite trousers, my idea was to style the pants with white Converse and white tees.
At 5 feet and 104 lbs, I look absolutely awful in high waisted pants! My short torso makes anything high waisted appear to begin right under my boobs – not attractive, IMO. I always choose midrise. Also, I avoid pleated styles. To me, they look old fashioned, and add bulk at my tummy, which I definitely don’t want. But I do appreciate your efforts to find pants for us shorties because the struggle is real!
Hello Victoria! Thank you for sharing! 🙂 I sometimes play with different lengths, so when I wear high-waisted, I put on a longer blazer or cardigan above (not too long). Mid-rise is not bad at all! I have some great mid-rise jeans! I always say- it all depends on how you style the item, rather than the item itself! I also understand the pleats- some skirts I love, but others look very bad. I have learned it depends also on the quality, pleats and the waistband! Have a great day! And thank you for your comment!
