Where to buy Petite clothing in Spain: The best Stores for short women (2026)

Shopping as a petite woman and looking for Petite clothing in Spain. It isn’t nearly as easy as I expected. I quickly realised that many popular brands don’t offer dedicated petite collections, and even when I loved a piece, the sleeves were too long, the trousers pooled around my ankles, or the waist sat too low.
Over time, I discovered that finding petite-friendly clothing isn’t just about shopping in petite sections. It’s about knowing which brands naturally work well for shorter frames, which stores offer shorter lengths, and which cuts are worth trying even if they aren’t labelled petite.

In this guide, I’m sharing the stores I genuinely recommend after living in Spain and dressing a petite frame. Whether you’re looking for jeans, dresses, workwear, linen pieces, or affordable everyday basics, these are the shops I think are worth visiting.

Looking for the best petite fashion stores in Spain? My top recommendations are Stradivarius for jeans, ASOS for dedicated petite sizing, Mango for linen clothing, Zara for dresses, and Massimo Dutti for timeless workwear. Keep reading for my complete guide and shopping tips.

Editor’s Note: This guide is updated regularly to include my latest petite fashion finds, new brands, and shopping tips. As a 5’2″ petite woman living in Spain, I only recommend stores I’ve personally shopped from or genuinely believe offer flattering options for shorter women. My goal is to save you time, help you avoid disappointing purchases, and make finding petite-friendly fashion much easier.

How I Chose the Best Petite Fashion Stores in Spain

There are plenty of fashion stores in Spain, but not all of them work well for a petite frame. When putting together this guide, I focused on brands that consistently offer flattering proportions, versatile wardrobe staples, and styles that don’t overwhelm a shorter silhouette.
These are the things I pay the most attention to whenever I shop:

  • Jeans with shorter inseams or lengths that need little to no tailoring.
  • Dresses with waistlines that sit in the right place.
  • Jackets and blazers that don’t feel oversized.
  • High-waisted trousers and skirts that help elongate the legs.
  • Good value for money and pieces that can be worn season after season.
  • While every body is different, these are the brands I personally return to because they make shopping as a petite woman much easier.

Petite clothing in Spain: a complete shopping guide

Is Petite fashion available in Spain?

petite fashion in spain

My investigation lead me to a Petite brand in Spain named MYLIIT. It used to be available in El Corte Ingles shopping malls. However, it closed very fast. Women in Spain are very short, specially as the country also has latina women. However, there are not enough brands and shops that offer petite fashion.

As well as, a lot of brands that do offer Petite fashion, like petite trousers or jeans, ignore that part of their own store. And therefore also lose a huge part of customers. For example, a lot of Petite women in Spain do not know that Stradivarius offer Petite jeans. Therefore, they buy jeans and then hem them. It is because in the store there are no Petite jeans and they are only available online. How it makes sense if women with specific sizes are the ones that should be able to try on the piece?

Therefore, yes, there are a few local brands and retailers that offer some Petite fashion. However, I have discovered a lot of Petite fashion brands and retailers online that ship to Spain.

Best Petite jeans in Spain

  • Stradivarius has amazing affordable jeans for petite women
  • ASOS offer variety of different prices and brands
  • Zara is known for their quality jeans and denim
  • Levi’s (available through retailers)

Best Petite dresses

  • Petite Studio NYC comes out yearly with good quality flattering Petite dresses
  • Zara always have great variety of dresses (I suggest looking into mini or midi dresses)
  • ASOS offer dresses starting with 15 eur up to hundreds if you are going for the quality. And you can even find wedding dresses.

Best Petite linen clothes

Lately, I have been into linen because of the benefits the linen brings. Linen is lightweight and suitable for summer in Spain. The fabric is also thin and flattering on shorter frames. Therefore, I have been writing a lot of linen fashion guides for Petite women. I suggest you read the best linen dress outfits and best linen pieces for short women.

Best Petite Summer clothes

However, what about Petite women and summer outfits? In Spain, weather is very hot and it is difficult to style comfortable, simple but flattering outfits. However, after years of living in Spain as a Petite woman, I have my tricks. And one of the most crucial Petite fashion hack is creating petite summer capsule wardrobe that works.

The stores I recommend after shopping in Spain as a Petite woman

Zara

winter to spring transitional denim outfit

Zara is Spanish brand and I would suggest you look into Zara. The brand Zara offers a lot of jeans, trousers and dresses that fit shorter women. I would say if you are 155cm, it is easier to shop in Spain and regular stores. However, it is more difficult for extra Petites. But cropped styles ofter works for Petites. Each year I repurchase basics, like tops and they are the perfect fit for short torsos.

Mango

petite fashion brands in Spain

Mango is a big hit or miss. I have seen a few nice jeans that fit my 4’11 (150cm) petite frame. As well as I own amazing winter wool coat that is flattering and elegant. As well as I have seen a lot of nice dresses. However, I have also tried on a lot of blazers and jeans that are too big for me.

H&M Petite

petite clothing in spain

I have checked H&M kids section– it is a great section. Specially if you are looking for jumpers, leggings or t-shirts- you can find nice petite-friendly gems at H&M. Honestly, the most beautiful jumpers are in the H&M kids section. The prices are stunning- you can get a cotton jumper for 12 eur. However, I recently discovered that H&M also offers Petite sizes but it is not very popular and does not offer a lot. And lastly, it is usually very sold out but H&M, in general, is great for basics. One of the last surprises I ordered and kept were the brown Petite trousers: fit like a glove and are affordable.

Stradivarius Petite Jeans

Stradivarius Jeans is my best Petite fashion discovery. The brand is one of my favourite places to buy jeans because many styles come in slightly shorter lengths than other high-street brands. I especially love their straight-leg denim, which usually fits my frame without needing alterations. Their knitwear and fitted tops also tend to work well for petites because they aren’t overly oversized. The Stradivarius jeans are very flattering and stretchy, comfortable and fits my petite frame perfectly. They are also very affordable for what you get and durable. The black skinny jeans I got five years ago look like new.

El Corte Ingles

El Corte Ingles is a very popular shopping mall in Spain. It is located in all the cities around Spain. El Corte Ingles has fashion and clothing from more affordable prices to high-end luxury. The shopping mall offers different brands, styles and outfits. It is good for tailoring basics.

Zalando

puffer outerwear hacks for Petites

Zalando is another amazing retailer with a huge Petite fashion category. I have ordered a few pieces on sale as a winter puffer from Only Petite and tailored trousers. Zalando offers different famous brands from affordable to more exclusive and expensive.

International Petite brands that ship to Spain

ASOS Petite

ASOS Petite has been my favourite international Petite-friendly online shop for Petite fashion. Firstly, ASOS offers a wide variety of clothing for short women. Secondly, you can choose the price you want to go for- more affordable brands or more expensive brands. Thirdly, ASOS offers good quality basics every woman need in the capsule wardrobe. Last but not least, I like the return policy and it has always worked for me perfectly.

Petite Studio NYC

linen petite dress

I tried Petite Studio NYC last year and I love the quality of the clothes. However, the last summer campaign was not very positive because a lot of clients left comments of having too long sleeves and not fitting Petites. As well as I have noticed that most clothes fit very thin women but not curvy women. The designs are not the most flattering for short and curvy frames. However, I still love my red linen dress and the satin top I own. Last month they came out with new jeans launch.

Sezane

Sezane is one of the most minimalistic and sophisticated looking brand. A lot of Petite bloggers and influencers shop from Sezane. I have heard that the brand is very petite-friendly but I have not had a chance to try the brand out yet. Should I do a Sezane Haul?

Next Petite

Next Petite offers the best basics for the best price. It has a lot of t-shirt and top packs. As well as very well fitting dresses, jumpers and jeans. Another brand I have not tried yet but is on my Petite wishlist.

Karen Millen

Best petite fashion brands in the UK

If you love sophisticated and elegant fashion, then Karen Millen is for you. However, lately I have noticed that Karen Millen has become a marketplace for other brands. The Karen Millen website now offers petite-friendly brands like Coast, Wallis and more. Karen Millen has the most gorgeous dresses I have ever seen.

What to look for if there is no petite section?

If there is no Petite section, look for cropped trousers, high-rise bottoms, ankle-length jeans, tailored silhouettes and 2/3 sleeves or any tops with short tops. Avoid baggy and drop-waist styles. Shopping in no petite sections is a huge talent you need to learn. Knowing your inseams and measurements help a lot as well.

My Best Shopping Tips for Petite Women

Shopping became much easier once I stopped focusing on the size label and started paying attention to proportions. Here are a few tips that have made the biggest difference for me.

  • Choose high-waisted trousers and jeans to create the illusion of longer legs.
  • Look for cropped jackets instead of oversized or longline styles.
  • Check the inseam before buying jeans online.
  • Don’t be afraid to have trousers hemmed if the fit is perfect everywhere else.
  • Try on midi dresses—they often fit like maxi dresses on a petite frame.
  • Build your wardrobe around timeless basics instead of fast-changing trends.
  • Remember that not every great petite outfit has to come from a petite collection.

Common mistakes Petite women make when shopping in Spain

Firstly, assuming that European sizes mean Petite sizes but it is not true. Secondly, ignoring inseam measurements. I suggest knowing your inseam as well as sleeve length and take measurement tape whenever you shop. Thirdly, buying oversized trends. Forget about trends and only follow your style. It will also help you with saving money.

FAQ About Petite Fashion in Spain

Where can petite women buy clothes in Spain?

Finding petite clothing in Spain can be challenging, but there are several stores that work surprisingly well for shorter women. I regularly shop at Stradivarius, Zara, Mango, and ASOS for flattering jeans, dresses, tops, and wardrobe basics. The key is to look for cropped styles, high-waisted silhouettes, and pieces with shorter inseams.

Does Zara have a petite collection?

Zara doesn’t have a dedicated petite collection, but many of its cropped jackets, mini dresses, fitted tops, and shorter skirts work beautifully on a petite frame. I always check the measurements and prefer styles with a defined waist for the most flattering fit.

Is Mango good for petite women?

Yes! Mango is one of my favorite stores for timeless wardrobe staples. Their linen dresses, blazers, trousers, and knitwear often work well for petite women, especially if you choose cropped styles or have trousers hemmed when needed.

Which store has the best jeans for petite women in Spain?

Stradivarius is my personal favorite for affordable petite-friendly jeans because many of their straight-leg and slim-fit styles fit my height with little or no tailoring. ASOS is another great option if you’re looking for a dedicated petite denim collection.

Can petite women shop regular clothing collections?

Absolutely! I don’t limit myself to petite collections. Many regular collections work well if you know what to look for. Cropped tops, high-waisted trousers, mini dresses, and fitted blazers often fit petite women beautifully, even when they’re not labeled “petite.”

What clothes are the most flattering for petite women?

Pieces that define the waist, create clean lines, and don’t overwhelm a smaller frame tend to be the most flattering. I love high-waisted jeans, wrap dresses, straight-leg trousers, cropped jackets, fitted knitwear, and monochrome outfits because they help create balanced proportions.

Are there affordable petite-friendly clothing stores in Spain?

Yes! Some of my favorite affordable stores include Stradivarius, Zara, Pull&Bear, Bershka, and H&M. These brands regularly offer stylish pieces that can work well for petite women without spending a fortune.

Is ASOS Petite available in Spain?

Yes. ASOS ships to Spain and offers one of the largest petite collections online. It’s one of my favorite places to shop for petite jeans, dresses, trousers, occasion wear, and everyday wardrobe essentials.

How can I make regular clothes fit a petite frame?

I always pay attention to proportions rather than just the size label. Choosing cropped jackets, defining the waist, rolling sleeves when needed, and hemming trousers can completely transform how regular clothing fits a petite body.

What wardrobe essentials should every petite woman own?

My petite wardrobe always includes a great pair of straight-leg jeans, a flattering linen dress, a fitted white T-shirt, a classic blazer, a versatile handbag, comfortable sandals, and neutral wardrobe basics that can be mixed and matched throughout the year.

Are Spanish fashion brands good for petite women?

Many Spanish fashion brands can work well for petites, even without dedicated petite lines. I’ve had great success with Stradivarius, Zara, and Mango because they often offer cropped cuts, high-waisted styles, and modern silhouettes that suit a shorter frame.

How do I build a stylish petite wardrobe in Spain?

I focus on buying versatile, high-quality pieces instead of following every trend. Investing in well-fitting jeans, timeless dresses, lightweight layers, and classic accessories makes it much easier to create stylish outfits that flatter a petite frame year-round.

Shopping for petite clothing in Spain can sometimes feel frustrating, but it doesn’t have to be. I’ve learned that finding clothes that fit well is less about shopping exclusively in petite collections and more about knowing which brands consistently work for a shorter frame.

The stores in this guide are the ones I genuinely recommend because they’ve helped me find jeans that don’t need major alterations, dresses that fit beautifully, and timeless wardrobe staples I wear year after year.

I hope this guide helps you discover a few new favourites and makes shopping as a petite woman a little easier. If you have a store you love that I haven’t mentioned yet, I’d love to hear about it in the comments. I’m always looking for new petite-friendly fashion finds!
